BBH advokátska kancelária, s.r.o. (hereinafter “BBH SK”) is a full-service independent Slovak law firm. Based in Bratislava and of a strong domestic background, BBH SK was established with the merger of the law offices of Beláňová & Bak (“BB”) and BBH, advokátní kancelář, v. o. s. (“BBH”). BBH SK is a fully licensed law firm of three highly experienced partners, in total 8 lawyers in the firm.
Established in April 2006, BB continued in the practice of former leading domestic law firm Zelenay & Co., which was established in 1990 and from which BB has maintained the strong tradition of excellence in its client services.
On October 13th, 2006, BB progressed its long-standing mutual cooperation with Prague based international law firm BBH and established a formal affiliation partnership. Established in January 2000, BBH likewise acquired the practice of the former Prague offices of a well known international law firm, thereby greatly expanding their international business throughout Central and Eastern Europe. BBH is a fully licensed general partnership of six highly experienced partners with a total of 42 lawyers and exceeding 60 total employees (including lawyers), ranking BBH among the largest law firms in the Czech Republic. Since June 2006, BBH also has an affiliate office in Moscow with 5 experienced lawyers in the firm.
In order to mutually utilize the experience and benefits of both law firms, as of January 1st, 2007, BB and BBH are jointly active in Slovakia under the common trade name BBH advokátska kancelária, s.r.o..
Our clients are well aware of and greatly appreciate our approach, which is based on the principle of flexible and dynamic teams composed of local and, to the extent required, international lawyers who are supported by the entire staff of our law firm.
